My name is Roland Kühne and I am the founder of this unique adventure that is more than just a business – it is a movement, a passion, a lifestyle.
Our story: From the first step to the SUPER movement
It all started in 2003, when I discovered the first VIVOBAREFOOT barefoot shoes at the PITTI UOMO trade fair in Florence. It was love at first step. These shoes were not just a product; they were a revelation, an invitation to see the world from a new perspective - closer to the ground, more connected with each step.
But the path was not always easy. The early days were marked by skepticism and challenges. Selling barefoot shoes was an idea that was foreign to many at the time. But I was convinced of the importance and advantages of these revolutionary shoes. With perseverance and passion, I opened the TERRA PLANA shop with barefoot shoes in Neubaugasse in 2006, a small step for me, but a big step for the barefoot movement.
Our name is a promise: SUPERBAREFOOT stands for exceptional quality , SUPER comfort and that SUPER feeling of being one with the earth with every step. We offer first-class products.
